Hello! After 9 years, Forgotten is at last complete. Thank you all for being here for the ride.
I can talk about what Forgotten means to me and what I think it’s about for hours, but I believe it’s best to let you, the reader, decide what it means to you. I’d be honored regardless of any reading.
If I leave you with anything, it’s this: Forgotten is like an old friend to me. It grew up alongside me through thick and thin, never quite staying the same, but steadfast in its position by my side. Forgotten was possible because no matter how much time I took away from it, it always waited for me… and I always made sure to come back.
I want you all to keep creating your art, no matter what. I started this comic in a time of great uncertainty, and I find myself ending it in a world just as uncertain. But if there’s one thing I do know, is that no matter what, we have the art we make, no matter how much this world wants to stop you from creating it.
Just keep making it, okay?
(Hopefully without the pressure from arrogant cats, this time.)
