To all people, like myself who used to be mostly anti-woke and almost right-wing: YOU CAN CHANGE.
I understand that you might have fallen for it because it promised order or you felt intimidated by your own lgbtq orientation and/or felt resentment for those more out and proud. But know this: although there might be one or two good conservative ones, that party has been our ennemy for most of its history.
All I can say is do educate yourself as much as possible. The Internet Archive, Matt Baume, Rowan Ellis and Breaking Down Patriarchy are good places to start. And your local library. Also, know this: you can be as loud or discreet as you want in your expression. But I find that the more I learn about queer history, the more it seems to me that the most tattooed or strange-looking ones (for a compulsory heteronormative society) are the most open and kindest.
