There is a chiropractor on a back road near the university and they have a marquee sign

but they tend to leave very ominous messages

for the longest time, it just said:

YOU REAP

WHAT

YOU SOW

and I believe this is a purposeful attempt at adding literal insult to injury for all past, current, and future patients ; additionally, it is a threat towards anyone who comes in and asks for help as it is NOT a chiropractic facility, but a tourist trap for patients who dare to try alternative medicine

Every day of each semester, I drive past this facility, unsettled by the sass and threat, worried that one day I may fall into their trap, even though the sign has long since been changed
