Hello! I really like your work! I'm currently writing a comic and I'm learning how to letter so I can take pressure off my artist who was doing everything himself. I'm currently confused on the file formats. Do you use .tiff files with a 7x10.5 sizing?
Hello and thank you! The size that we use for our comic, Ghost Junk Sickness, is on an 11x14 multi media heavy weight paper, with 1.5cm gutters drawn in on all edges! This is a custom size, so it can be tricky to work with if ever you wanted print, but it’s been a delight to work with for sizing and enough room for inks/drawings to get those details you want. As far as saving the files, they scan in at 300dpi as JPEGs, about around 4kx3k in size! We scale them down to 754 pixels to fit on the website when we finish and upload them!
