Combining tissue paper and paint to make a textured sea scape effect. The paper adds a rough texture encouraging the viewer to reach out and touch it. I'm starting to use this technique to expand photos and create texture within the flat image

12 days left before foundation life 'the end'.
Loving one of my edited photos from my Snow White photo shoot.

Exploration.
This week I have spent time exploring the area around Leeds, photographing it and researching the use of urban outdoor space. I have been searching for somewhere to work with, a space that is currently vacant or unloved, which I can make into something beautiful. I have found a few intriguing places, of which I will upload pictures later. Next I plan to narrow my idea and start measuring the places, drawing over the pictures I have taken and modelling the space around each one. This will help me to visualise how the spaces will work and how they will impact on the space around them.
