“Tch...the fuck are you doing in front of my dorm room anyways?”  He growled, passing by him and walking towards the cafeteria for breakfast. He was even more grumpy than usual, having barely slept lately and being extremely hungry.  It was hard to get enough sleep when those fucking annoying nightmares were torturing him. 

He really wanted to punch Deku now.

Syo was in the kitchen making lunch when he heard Natsuki. In a panic, he dropped the knife he was cutting veggies with and ran over to Natsuki’s side. “Holy shit, Natsuki! Are you alright?!” Syo sighed. “Why do I always ask that when the answer is obvious? ...what happened?”

Nuri’s head shot up at the other’s words, he looked panicked, a cut on his cheek bleeding quite a bit. “N-Nothing- I’m okay, I’m f-fine..”  He muttered, standing up and trying to leave once again.  His arms felt heavy, the flames having sued up most of his energy.

The small male was allowed to go outside again after having trained for weeks, and he made sure to have a lot of fun. He might’ve been alone but he would still enjoy himself. Nuri had bought a small bubble tea and was walking around town, humming a little to himself. 

He looked around the town, it was quite empty but he enjoyed the peace. He soon sat down next to someone else on a bench, still humming a little as he checked his phone, his legs swaying around a little.

Syo walked around the Saotome Mall aimlessly. He stopped at the giant Christmas tree and looked up at it. The rainbow lights sparkled and bounced off the shiny glass ornaments. Syo thought about the things he and Natsuki could do for Christmas. Opening presents, drinking hot chocolate, watching Christmas movies.... And then he thought about how lonely he’d be if Natsuki weren’t there. He gripped his arm a bit as his heart started to ache. “I don’t think he’s really thinking of taking the job. He said he didn’t want to. But I told him to. I want Natsuki to do what’s best for him... but I don’t want him to leave.”

Syo kissed Natsuki back just as passionately, if not more. He didn’t understand why he felt like this. He just needed Natsuki’s kiss like how someone in the desert needed water. He felt like he hadn’t kissed him in so long.

Syo was a little nervous, this was his first competition. But if his mom, dad, and Kaoru all believe in him, maybe he could do it. Syo took a deep breath and stepped onto the stage. He could do it. Syo put the bow to his violin and began to play.

Syo got lost in his music, like he was in his own little world. He loved it. Syo relaxed and closed his eyes when he finished. The audience clapped and cheered as he bowed and went back behind stage. He heard the next person’s name, Natsuki Shinomiya. What would he be like? Was he just as good as he was?
