um. hashtag a little embarrassed but luckydabihawks. they. their bizarre situationship. As a treat.
let me know if u desire this edited version of this template that i made (w 3 characters instead of 2)
6,7,8 for whoever u want ^-^
:D <3
6. What's a piece of canon lore you refuse to change about your f/o, even for the sake of your selfship?
I feel like. dabi and hawks' big fight for sure. they Need to try to kill eachother #situationship minus the hawks actually killing twice. that i changed because i can. and then dabi's fight w endeavor and shōto for sure, though not ending exactly as it does. aaand hawks being an agent and betraying the league in the end. I want him to have a Much worse time doing it but it still happens. yk.
7. What's a piece of canon lore that absolutely had to change for your selfship to work?
dabi freaking dying. I mean it could still work before that but I don't want it to be this way. they need to have their weird not quite relationship that actually becomes Something once they've figured their shit out slightly more post-war. and hawks' perspective on heroes and villains staying the same had to be changed because . well. I don't think he would be in a situationship-turned-polycule with two villains otherwise. I did also just add human experimentation into the HPSC for lucky's existence. make the government worse I say
2 & 8 for self ship lore asks?
#hell #yes it's lucky time
2. Was there a specific canon moment that made you fall for your f/o?
I don't think there was one particular moment for either hawks or dabi, once they were onscreen enough I was just kind of like uh oh. it's over for me im attached. But some honorable moments that made me feel some kind of way:
hawks and twice bonding and being sillay
dabi burning toga's old house and them being cutes
their fight. loved dabi serving cunt and loved hawks getting beat up. best of both worlds
8. What part of your f/o's story felt like it was missing something that your s/i was able to fill?
with dabi, i feel like there isnt enough like. hope. if that makes sense. it doesn't help that he dies also #1 thing lucky changed but like. dabi and lucky are mirrors of one another in many ways, they reflect good and bad parts of one another, but they're also entirely different as people. and i think dabi seeing somebody so similar to himself and his past who challenges his perspective on the world and Everything while simultaneously accepting him as he is. idk. it's something to me. dabi deserves to exist as his own person, undefined by his past and his family and revenge, and i think he could realize that it's a possibility because of lucky. who becomes his own person over time partially because of dabi as well.
and hawks.. i just hate the whole ending and the way his stance on the villains was unchanging and he was a Good Guy Forever and then is the president of the HPSC. I want him to struggle more and have a terrible time because he realizes he understands some of the league's motivations and he sees them as people. and realizes the horrors of his own past w being groomed into being a perfect hero and such. like he almost got there but also not really. and I like dbhx dgmw but I think they are too different as people for dabi to spark that shift in worldview for hawks naturally because it's So deeply ingrained. but lucky, on the other hand, parallels hawks as a living weapon created by the HPSC, intended to be a hero like him. except lucky's fantasy of the world in black and white, good and evil, was shattered before he actually became a hero and he got the fuck out of there. anyway so lucky is the spark that forcibly shifts hawks' perspective on heroes and villains as a whole and forces him to consider his role in a hero society. if this makes sense. :3
assorted images. of them. could also be changed for the aura of tragedy. all of them have an aura of tragedy ^_^
