Oh, wait. I was trying to put multiple images on one post to be less spammy. Oops. I’ll resume that now.
Also, hey, different dress. That bit on the front looks like a pride flag. It’s cute and I like the darker color.
I keep staring at this image and trying to come up with a coherent thought on the introduction of this character and I’m at a loss. When I was a child I loved My Little Pony (we’re talking original 80s ponies, not this new-fangled Friendship is Magic stuff). My favorite character was Wind Whistler. Everyone said she was a snooty know-it-all but I also was a snooty know-it-all and I loved her. I had kind of a rough childhood and let’s just say that what little money we had spare for toys usually went to my little brother because he was younger. So anyway, I never had a Wind Whistler toy but I had one real My Little Pony doll and like six fakies. I loved that real My Little Pony doll so much, even after the sun bleached her mane from pink to white and her tulips faded to almost nothing and I kept her in a special place on my dresser as I grew up. One day when I was in my mid-to-late-teens I came home to find that she’d fallen off the dresser and my dog had thought she was a chew toy. Her body was demolished and all that was left was her head because apparently it was a different kind of plastic that Candy didn’t enjoy chewing on. None of this is relevant, really, but this character, for obvious reasons, made me think of it.
Is.... is that her name? Flying Princess Pony Head? Do they call her FPPH (to pronounce this just eat a mouthful of saltine crackers and try to whistle) for short?
Ok I think I see where this is going. We have an entire episode with FPPH being jealous that Star called Marco her best friend and either trying to ditch him or just generally be mean to him while Star is oblivious to anything going wrong and Marco trying good-naturedly to get along until the very end when FPPH goes overboard and Star realizes that she’s jealous and in her sweet and cheerful way explains that they’re both her best friends and everyone is happy. Or Marco and FPPH fight to the death over Star’s affections.
Or just... outright hostility from the get-go. Ok.
