He wasn’t sure what had triggered the relapse. After all, he’d been five months sober following his last rehab stint, and his family and friends had been hopeful that it was the end of his struggles. But of course it wasn’t. It was never truly over for him. He’d gone to rehab before, three times to be exact, and each time, it had failed to fix him.

Tonight he had been home alone and of course he’d never handled loneliness well. So he’d went out to the club and somehow ended up drinking way too much. Way, way, way too much. Enough that all of his self control went out the window and he ended up stumbling into an empty bathroom in the club with a girl that he didn’t know. She was beautiful, of course, but it wasn’t like they knew anything about each other. All he knew was that he was turned on and needed to fix that problem right away. He was desperate.

“Try not to make too much noise.” He slurred as they stumbled into the bathroom, slamming the door behind them before pressing his lips against hers.

Uh...   yeah.  That  would  be  my  brother  Damon, but  I  don’t  have  any  control  over  him.  He’s  rude to  everyone  when  he’s  in  a  bad  mood. Just  wait a  while.  Once  he’s  got  some  bourbon  in  his system,  he’ll  be  more  approachable.

DAY 04: favorite portrayals of an original character:

my goodness, i could literally go on and on about all of your characters individually but that would make this post way too long and it would be a bit repetitive but holy cow - these characters are nothing short of amazing.  and so well thought out, and so beautifully written.  and their voices!!!   their voices are so unique and with every new post, they literally come alive.  and i adore each and every one of them so incredibly much!!

The record shop he entered was a bit smaller than Rostam expected from the outside. Inside, there were already a few people chatting and milling about. The shop was heavily decorated with prop instruments and vintage photos lined along the walls. The place had a strange smell mixed between new and dusty that he couldn’t decide if he liked or not. Old, dark wooden floorboards creaked underfoot as he walked through the low-set aisles, stopping once in a while to thumb through the collection of albums.

Demi had never really walked a red carpet with anyone before. Sure, after the Grammy’s last year she had walked one for an after party with Wilmer, but not one for an actual event. So, it was really nice to have Lila alongside her. It made the entire thing more enjoyable. Then again, Lila made pretty much everything more enjoyable for Demi. Ending her performance, Demi was back in her dressing room, sipping some water as the high from performing in front of her peers and her idols fell over her. Turning her head when the door opened and she saw her girlfriend step in her smile grew from ear to ear, “Babe!” Her voice was some what of a giddy squeal as she moved closer to Lila and her hands moved to cup her face, bringing her in for a kiss. Eventually pulling away reluctantly needing air she let out a content sigh, “Thanks for coming with me today.”

Those selfies. Who the hell even needs to be that cute? In character and out of character. Honestly, it ought to be a freaking crime to use the bunny filter on top of all that. No regard for how others might feel about them, smh. You’re gonna kill me. 

And Lila? What a mess. A fucking mess of pink and cotton candy at summer fairs and sunsets. All that pain she’s been through and her completely human reaction to the world - how dare you. How dare you create such an amazing, in depth character, and more importantly, how dare you hurt her demonstrate her growth. I can’t even grow like that; it’s hardly fair that she should get to. And then she’s got poor little Angel over here, tripping over himself with excitement about her and dying to be her friend but making him feel so !!! that he can hardly even reply to a thread.

To top it all of, you’re such a fucking peach. Seriously, who’s actually that nice? Do you even have a bark? A bite? It probably feels like roses falling. You probably smell like roses falling.

1) my bby ro!!!!!  @riffrcffed, i consider myself SO LUCKY to know you.  you’re.... you’re so amazing and you’re just ALWAYS HAPPY????  you’re incredible.  i love how whenever we talk to each other we always end up screaming in caps locks back and forth to each other, and it honestly makes my day.  literally i’ll be like ‘oh i wonder how ro is doing’ and then i’ll see you post something and i’ll be like ‘!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ro!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ like a dog wagging it’s tail!!!!!!!  i’m so so blessed to know you and to call you a friend!!! and okay, let me just SAY that aladdin has always been one of my favorite characters ever, and you write him so perfectly.  you honestly capture him so, so perfectly.  i jUST luv you so much!!!!

2) dani!!!!! @athenawrought!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  amb is such a phenomenal character, i think she’s so well thought out and i adore her to death!!!!!!!!! and you!!!!!!!!!  you’re the absolute sweetest and every single day that i see you on the dash is honestly, a really good day.  and i love our wine moms so much, and i love how our characters have clicked and have become such great friends ( and i also consider you to be a super good friend so congrats!!!!!  you’re stuck with me now!!!!!! ) 

3) faith!!!!!!  @her28thyear, you’ve always been a delight to have on my dash. and for so long!!!!  i’m pretty sure we’ve been following each other since pretty much the beginning????  and honestly, every single time i see you on the dash i’m just like YES!!!!!!!   you have such incredible characters, and i just love the way you write emma.  you have such an amazing grasp on her, and literally all of the other characters you write, and i just absolutely love to write with you!!! you’re such an amazing person, and an even more amazing friend!!!

4) BECCA!!!! BECAWWWW!!!!  @fragiilex, a literal day one.  i literally remember making this blog, and becoming mutuals with you.  literally from the start.  and i am so, so incredibly lucky for that!!!  you’re such an amazing person, and i absolutely love speaking with you when we do!!  you’re so easy to talk to, and i honestly absolutely love writing with you!!!   ever since that first day, i’ve always loved lila.  i think she’s an incredible character, and you just give her this voice that makes her sound and act and seem so real and you literally bring her to life.  and i absolutely love every single time i get to write with you, i consider myself to be so lucky to have a friend like you!!!
