had to quickly try out this new FrameBoy in-browser animation tool that just launched its 1.0 version!
considering i did this almost entirely straight-ahead with a mouse in like 20 minutes, i'm quite proud of it. go my buny, hop forth
Hey lookit this cool bit of browser based animation software
FrameBoy - Create frame-by-frame animations
I found it via the ol' BlueSky and it's very fun. Just animate something. Even if it's bad. Just do it's because it's fun and silly. Look at my garbage.
I'M AN ANIMATOR FOR A LIVING CAN YOU TELL??? Just enjoy the process :]
Last week when adobe said they were gonna discontinue animate I got really angry and started building my own animation program. I’m calling it FrameBoy. I want it to be a free animation program for everyone forever. kirunkunju.github.io/FrameBoy/
made in FrameBoy https://kirunkunju.github.io/FrameBoy/
Made some major updates to FrameBoy. Now with brush pressure, zooming, and the ability to SAVE and LOAD FILES! I created a new file format called FBY for FrameBoy. xIf you’re using Google Chrome you should be able to download the app and have the files auto-open in FrameBoy. Still working on this but try it out. https://kirunkunju.github.io/FrameBoy/
Here’s the Frameboy in more detail including how I cut up the prices, tested how I would layer them up, figure out how they would look in 3d and yes how to make it work with a back light source, oh yes! What do you think? (at Midtown ATL)
