I was really down after coming back home from Nepal. Meeting my family, hanging out with my friends, having as many HOT showers as i want might have been tempting while i was in Kathmandu... but being at home i couldn't stop thinking how gladly i would give that up and go back to Nepal to be with the kids with whom i had volunteered for four months (which were probably the craziest and the most fun four months in my life). Even if going back meant being dirty and cold, having power cuts that last up to 12 hours a day and saying good bye to my friends again.

I was planning to go back to Kathmandu. I just had to wait a little. But isn't it annoying sometimes that time takes soooooooo much time??? And that this time goes even slower when your perfect plan fails?

My perfect plan was to get a job right away, it was supposed to help me to keep my hands busy and to change that tape in my mind (it was repeating Nepal Nepal Nepal all the time), and to save some money, of course. "Right away" turned out to be five months away... :D

And out of immense longing and loads of free time on my hands beadsis.weebly.com was born.

I thought i'd use something i know (that happened to be 3d beading) and give my best shot to fundraise for the kids i'm hopefully going to see again in the very end of august.  If you're just interested in 3d beading and looking for free beading patterns or if you think that buying a pair of shoes for a kid in Nepal is money well spent, do check out the website.
