yes, we have seen the post regarding the discord message from gshade devs. no, it does not mean what you think it does. gshade is still very much safe. the wording of the message is being misread and spread as the wrong thing.

gshade devs did not put malware into gshade that can restart your pc upon using the program. gshade devs did not put malware on your system.

what the gshade devs did was put an anti-tampering code into the program, that is completely harmless. similar to overwatch/fortnite/valorant and their anti-cheat systems.

all the program will do is actually trigger a restart if you have gotten gshade from anywhere other than their site, and the program/code been tampered with from that source.

downloading gshade from gshade's website directly is still safe and is not coming with malware. you do not need to switch back to reshade. if you are downloading gshade from gshade and not getting it from a third party that could tamper with the program, it is safe.

any creator that is using the vagueness of "reasonable time" for early access to push off public release for a month and beyond WILL be featured on this blog, no matter what. especially if they are also stating they will be using adfly once the creation is public.

adfly is still a paywall, albeit not a permanent one. it also leads to so much risk of malware for the person clicking the link. patreon and other donation sites were supposed to be the end of creators using adfly and link shorteners, but since these creators cannot exploit the community for every penny anymore, of course they're going back to these things without a thought about the safety of their supporters.

what are your thoughts on the whole trackers in cc thing??

it's disgusting, period.

no creator should be putting their "customers" at risk by possibly sending them malware and encouraging doxxing of the people who are WILLINGLY paying for their content. mind you, doxxing in cases like this are pretty much illegal, especially used as an intimidation tactic and releasing information that is not publicly available.

creators that do these things are the main reason we are running this blog. these people are willingly supporting them and giving them their own hard-earned money because they like their content. no one is asking to have that background thought of "oh, is this even safe? am i spending money on someone who is going to put me in an unsafe position?"

and it's always the creators that are already breaking EA's TOU. it ALWAYS is. they think they're so entitled to the money and support when 90% of the time, their content isn't properly game tested and is breaking. or their models are stolen from other games and imported to ts4. not to mention the clothing and hair that have very obvious glitching in them.

EA seriously needs to crack down (they won't) on the creators doing these things. but honestly, stop supporting the creators that are doing these things. if they are forcing you to message them to get a link to their content or emailing you the content instead of publicly posting the file on a patreon post, there's a good chance they are doing this and are part of the problem.

did you miss us?

it's been awhile since we've found ourselves on this little site and this side of tumblr. but we're back and (hopefully) even better. if you aren't familiar with who we are and what we do, let us take a moment to introduce ourselves.

some of you may know us as freesimblr, even though that's not far off our url now. it's been a few years, and our previous account still isn't back, so we took matters into our own hands.

for you newcomers, and people who are still sick of creators blatantly ignoring EA's TOU when it comes to content creating, welcome to this little blog. even if you're just sick of creators stealing from smaller creators or anyone at all, welcome.

anyways. better introductions. we want to hold these creators accountable for their actions. no content should be forced behind paywalls and link shortening services that are more than likely to give you a virus if you're not careful.

do not get us wrong, we absolutely 100% support creators who want to get paid for their content, in fact, we approve of it. but being greedy and making getting your content become a "you HAVE to pay or you can't get this" is not what we're here for.

that being said, let's get this party started and welcome back to freesimblr. and yes, our old files (that were rather large) are still accessible. we still have them and we always have. ;)
