Here's a little doodle I threw together of the Chaos Clown, Smooth Criminal, and Funky Ratman! In my headcanon they're all cousins. OLC! Caboose and BV are constantly butting heads about who gets to be the brains of their operation and CB is the wild card. It's a miracle they've never been caught.

Freight Appreciation Week Day One: The Cabeese

He's my dad of the caboose family, he's a lot of fun but has no idea what discipline is. Too tired for crime at his age, but will encourage it. Maintains that funky mustache. Rat energy. Faceclaim: Michael Staniforth.

CB (the red thing)

The younger sibling with all the younger sibling energy. Once dragged a racoon through the house. Is just cute enough to get away with shit constantly. Out of touch with reality and has trouble making meaningful relationships. Faceclaim: a mix of Todd Lester and Ben Draper

BV (update caboose)

The older sibling, all of the responsibility, none of the fun. Shirked off responsibility as a kid because he wasn't born just to look after his creature of a brother. Smooth criminal, sly and charismatic, but a better person than he actually lets on. Faceclaim: Gary Sheridan

former boxcar converted into a milk car. mostly does short line trips to fairs and stuff. very silly and has no idea what's going on most of the time. loves pink, strawberries, and stuffed animals! tex is her cousin and bff. has a little baby crush on coco

former boxcar converted into a cattle car. very devoted to his cargo and takes really good care of them! epitome of a good southern boy. will hold the door open for you and then get stuck holding it open for the next dozen people. cousins and bffs with bonnabelle. has a will-they-won't-they thing going on with charley

perpetually sleep-deprived and pissed-off autorack. has a silly traffic cone hat. scarily tall (6'5" without hat). gender is ??? but likes presenting more feminine when he has the energy for it. has a will-they-won't-they thing going on with tex

ore jenny who is a very self-indulgent flatdust fan kid :) takes after both her dads! headstrong, energetic, and a social butterfly. forgets to empty her load a lot. missing a tooth. dating luis (she calls him lucho <3)

luis the ballast hopper

a ballast hopper with big dreams! spends most of his time stuck in the yard doing maintenance work ): he has icicle breakers equipped in the winter and gets put on passenger lines to protect the coaches. a little dumb but very sweet and doing his best. dating bea and adores her but is scared of her dad (flat top. dustin is fine)

jerrie the boom car

former gondola converted into a boom car (was originally scheduled to be scrapped but saved at the last minute). work partners and best friends with dolan the big hook and keeps him focused on the job. likes reading! doesn't like humans and thinks stealing from them is always morally correct

Day 6 of @freightappreciationweek ! ocs!

I've realized that I don't really have freight car ocs, which is a shame and something I really have to work on. But! I do have ocs for the front and back of the freight train!

Rosario may look like someone who prioritizes looks, and while he is that, he is also very dedicated to his work, and proud of being a strong freight engine.

Sploinko is an annoying little guy, who is unfortunately good enough at his job to stay employed. He does the duties of a caboose, but hates to be called one, as he is, in fact, a FRED.

Day two of Freight Appreciation Week! Dustin!!

Dustin is such a good character! 10/10 friend right there. I love the part in the OLC soundtrack when he stands up for Rusty during The Rap and their little moment together after the Starlight Sequence. Also his blursed rap verse intro from the 2nd US Tour. "I'm Dustin! I'm bustin' to travel with gravel!"

Day five of Freight Appreciation Week! The Rockies!

They're all siblings in my headcanon (I also gave them rock pun names). Plus Pink! Rocky 4 because why not! Rocky 1 is the oldest, Rocky 2 and 3 are twins, and Rocky 4 is their baby brother. They're all hard workers, but Rocky 4 rarely leaves the shed due to poor health. Sometimes he feels invisible compared to his older siblings.

I was inspired his London look. What a silly guy Flat-Top is! I love all of the brick-related shenanigans that he gets into! He has a few screws loose from accidentally catching bricks with his face.
