To be honest, a lot of us didn't think we would get first place bc... Well, we're way too hard on ourselves (which is a good thing in a way). The first time we performed in the preliminaries, a lot of us thought we would get 3rd place with Monterey and Clovis taking the first two spots. Knowing that some of the platforms were not in the right place and four (maybe more) people fell during the show, we thought that our show wasn't the best on the field that day. However, when they announced the order for finals, we were the last to perform which meant we were placed first in the preliminaries. With that in mind, for me I felt that all the extra practiced and hard work actually paid off. This little snippet I took last night was probably one of the best feelings I've ever experienced. We reclaimed our Grand Champion title and I seriously felt like our whole band were one.
