There were a lot of pretty green Brussels sprouts on the plate in that picture. There were literally only two halves in my meal. I was very disappointed. I added some rice with broccoli because I need green in my life. The rice was nice because I was still a little hungry after eating my Brussels sprout, beef, and gooey onions. The sweet potatoes were undercooked and had much more bite then they should have. But it was free! I can’t say I’d buy this again unless I could be guaranteed more(and better) vegetables. The box is attractive though so I give SmartMade credit for that.

MyMagazine Sharing Networks’ Fresh Ideas From the Freezer

My toddler really doesn’t give me time to cook dinner.  As a result, I need meals that are super fast to cook, like under 10 minutes.  So when MyMagazine Sharing Network started the Fresh Ideas From the Freezer mission, I joined right in.  I received 9 coupons to get free frozen food items from the Kroger family of stores.  The items included Lean Cuisine, Freschetta, Wicked Kitchen, Stouffers Fit Kitchen, Smart Made, Morning Star Farms, Farm Rich, Frontera, and Eggo.  I had a lot of fun shopping for the items, though I was disappointed that not more of the brands offered non-dairy or gluten-free options.  My favorite was by far the vegetarian Morning Star Farms Grillers Crumbles since it was so tasty and I was able to make so many meals with it.
