Starter for friendiisms

   Well, he wasn't a dog.

Honestly, Angel wasn't quite sure, from scent alone, what kind of animal she was dealing with. What she did know was that the other was nosing around down the alley she tended to think of as her forraging grounds, and the little mixed-breed didn't much appreciate it. Hoping for a better view, the little dog quickly hopped up atop the abandoned wagon to look down on the intruder.

Red fur, fairly small... was that a fox?

She'd tangled with one of the species before, but only briefly. This particular animal, however, looked as though he might have simply been lost. Jumping down from her present perch to the ground, Angel ventured cautiously towards him.

   "Hm. I can tell someone really doesn't know his way around an alley."

In spite of her cautious body language, her tone and her expression were all smug confidence. She wasn't going to start off by showing weakness, that was for sure.
