"Driven" is fantastic
Had the pleasure of attending Frightfests London screening of Driven today. So glad I did! Really is a great film.
What surprised me most, (and I know others have said it already) is that I went mostly to swoon over Richard but Casey Dillard's wonderful portrayal of the relatable and witty Emerson absolutely stole the show. Both characters were well-written and left me wanting to see more of their lives than the tiny snapshot shown in the film.
There is, of course, a story to follow. Roger (Richard Speight Jr) is in town to break his family's curse, while Demons (for lack of a better word) try to stop him, and Emerson is the unlucky Ferry (think Uber) driver he ropes in to help. But it's the relationship between the two that really held my attention.
If you get the opportunity, definitely watch this.
