So I was looking at the picture of Richonne with Judith. It’s one of those classic picnic shots of the family. But now it really reminded me of Fringe. It’s like some plot or trope is going on with TWD and what it did on Fringe. Parallels! Though it’s hard to explain. Fringe is scifi and the series is already is over (and I don’t remember much). TWD is still going.
-Both were on the “beginning of the end” kind of thing. It was Fringe’s final season. Rick’s final episodes-ish on TWD + movies.
-They are having a fun family picnic. (Rick, Michonne, and Judith^) (Olivia, Peter, and young Etta^)
-...then trouble comes. On TWD, the walkers herd were coming toward the bridge and it’s dangerous to Rick’s people, so Rick blew up the bridge. Everyone thinks he’s dead but he’s not. He’s saved and is somewhere else for years. Then a time skip, we meet older Judith^. On Fringe, Observers took Etta before Peter could save her. Then Olivia and Peter went to a different timeline (idr, the Machine?) and eventually met adult Etta^. Those three and other main characters were to work together to save the universe.
- Rick (TWD) and Etta (Fringe) are missing and thought to be dead.
-Then on Fringe they figured it out how to save the universe (bye walter) and went back in time but it’s altered/fixed so it’s a different timeline then. Universes were saved.
Peter and young Etta finally did reunite or uh hugged. (no bad Observers and missing people). So, on TWD hopefully someday Rick will reunite with Judith and the rest of his family too.
*another parallel is how Richonne and Polivia deal with the death of Carl and the missing of young Etta.
