Mats Zuccarello visiting the practices of his old school (NTG), in Asker where he started his hockey career. Zucc still maintains that if he ever returns to Norwegian hockey (which is hopefully a long time away still) Frisk Asker is his only team!

“Hopefully coming back is not going to be relevant for a while, but I’ve always stuck with the fact that this is where I want to return. Frisk Asker accomplishes a lot for a club that doesn’t have a whole lot of resources. And its fun to see that Basse (Anders Bastiansen) is back here now. He’s going to be important.”

I'm guessing the Norwegian channel TV2 is regretting the fact that they aren't showing the current round of hockey from the GET Liga. The consistently best team Stavanger Oilers are down by 4 goals halfway against surprise of the year Frisk Asker. And in Hamar the rivalry between Storhamar and Vålerenga has drawn 7109 people to the match! Those are rare numbers in Norwegian hockey. Storhamar currently in the lead 2-1. Man.
