The return of FRONT.
In February 2014, one of the worlds biggest magazine publications and a massive inspiration to Treehouse closed it's doors, for what we thought would be the final time.
Front Magazine, launched in 1998, rose to popularity along with Loaded magazine, and the two competitors attracted the target audience of 16- 30 year old males. Often labelled as a "lads mag" however, Front was certainly not. Featuring detailed articles on music, sport, models, games and gadgets, Front was always written and displayed in a way that was equally accessible to women; with a number of high profile celebrities showing their support as cover stars including Pamela Anderson and Christina Aguliera.
After 12 strong years, the journey came to an abrupt end on the 7th of February as front announced that they had ceased their operations and would no longer continue working as a company. However, just one month later, a message stating "And FRONT said onto her, I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me, though FRONT were dead, yet shall FRONT live!" appeared and they confirmed that they were indeed returning to business.
