RepostBy @adamoceanwalker: "A MUST WATCH, SWIM TIPS THAT CAN MAKE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE!! šš A demo of my old conventional stroke on the left & on the right the Ocean Walker technique at a triathlon show in a seriously awesome @endlesspools with the super cool @lutzmarkj The pace clock for both is at 1 min 11 secs per 100 metres. The left video is how I use to swim flatter lifting my arms over head with no hip activation. The video on the right shows how I changed my stroke, utilising hip driven with soft hands (not chest and shoulder driven) With no lifting of arms over head just a gentle elbow push. The result - on the left side 35 strokes, on the right side 18 strokes with the speed the same on both. Showing the hip driven providing me with momentum & glide to significantly reduce my strokes & therefore save energy. In addition less effort & no pain or discomfort!!! Save those shoulders!!! ššš„š„ For 1-1 enquiries & swim camps world wide for triathlon/Ironman/open water & pool swimmers pls email [email protected] šš„š„ #coaching #triathlon #ironman #triathlete #ironmantraining #triathlontraining #ironmantri #freestyle #ironman703 #openwaterswim #outdoorswimming #fitness #gym #ocean #swimlike #swimbikerun #oceanwalker #outdoorswimmer #frontcrawl #triathlonlife #swimming #tricamp #swimcoach #pool #swimmer #oceanswim #oceanswimmer #fitinspiration #swim"
