Unfortunately my peak activity dropped off before the major patch that updated all the biomes and bosses and whatnot, so I never worked in depth with living tree material or reblogged any here. I remember seeing the living tree stuff ingame when I explored, though, and I thought the actual living tree itself was good inspo for a tree themed setup!
Anything on the blog which is remotely tree-themed is tagged #tree.
Here though, a neat living treehouse from Reddit! The Terraria subreddit always has some neat stuff. I think this is a generic wood treehouse from Reddit. Someone is making a forest out of it.
You might get some interesting results just from a Google Image search, too. People love showing off their bases (and I love seeing them, hence the blog :'D)
You could also post progress shots of your base and ideas to the Terraria tag to see if anyone has advice!
