Trains are pretty cool, but I think I prefer cars if I’m not going to fly. It’s probably better than a bus, though. Anyways, I’m on a train, and it’s actually kind of cold on this train, so I’m not too thrilled about that, but I’m on my way to New York, so I really can’t complain about a thing, because New York City is probably one of my favorite places in the world. Obviously, huge shout out to my sister for getting me the best Christmas present ever, because now I get to spend three days here, I’m too excited for words.

Well, you can only avoid Abuela’s wooden spoon for so long, I suppose. I thought I was doing pretty good, but she caught me mixing some wine into my morning glass of grape juice and apparently she was not on board with my invention of ‘cheap mimosas’. I tried to explain that it was better than bloody mary’s because then I’d be drinking vodka first thing in the morning, but she didn’t seem to really care, because here I am with a knot on my head from her wooden spoon. At least I have a cheap mimosa to numb the pain.

Well, break definitely could not come any sooner, I need it like I need the air to breathe at this point. However, I want to wish everyone a good break, and I’d like to remind my girls that just because we are not at our house, you still represent your sisters everywhere you go, and I am not above flying to your hometowns and smacking sense into you if you fuck up.

Can you believe there is 24 days left in 2015?

Whenever the end of the year happens, I swear it’s not like the year is ending that gets you but more so the feeling of asking where the hell the rest of the year has went. Cause I swear I have no clue what I did this year besides write papers the day before they were due, get annoyed by humans, want more sleep and renew my vows to food being my one true love again.

Do you ever meet someone that is really just the most boring person on the planet. And you just kind of sit there, and ponder how someone can be so boring? Like, how is it actually possible not be the slightest bit interesting? Do they know that they’re boring? Is it a personal choice to be boring? Do they think they’re just being quiet and mysterious? I mean, what is going on in these people’s lives, that there is NOTHING going on in their lives?
