FaceTime ⇄ Lovato & Wesley
Paul: As much as Paul loved to travel, there was no denying that the process of it — the layovers, the flurry of commotion in the airports, and the flight itself — stripped him of his usual energy. Upon landing in Atlanta, the indulgent part of him wanted nothing more than to collapse resoundingly in his bed and sleep all of September away. But practicality reigned, because he was an adult, sort of, and adults had responsibilities, whatever they were. He hit the ground running, tending to a number of chores before even returning to his apartment, then tending to another pile of them before, finally, the time for relaxation came. Having changed into a loose white v-neck and a pair of plaid pajama pants, Paul settled in bed, leaning against the headboard as he reached for the phone sitting idle on his nightstand. It was quickly that he navigated to the FaceTime feature, and owing Demi a session, swiped through until he reached her name. Tapping it, he fought a yawn as he tilted his head against the wood of the headboard, waiting for her confirmation.
