So, no, Calvin wasn't quite on the level of Oliver and his fucking fruit baskets, but he still liked to make an effort to leave a good impression on the new guys when they rocked up. Was that at least partially because they'd lost the last, like, four or so in record time? Possibly.
But, he was also still new enough that he could remember feeling like he was pretty much wandering around in circles for his first few days and that really wasn't a fun experience, so when he saw an unfamiliar face? A grin, a slightly over the top wave, and he was making his way over.
"Anybody shown you around properly yet? I'm Calvin. One of the other campers."
