her metaphorical heart stops. she wasn't even a foot in the door before az had caught her, like a deer in headlights. blood covered a good portion of her shirt making it look like a literal murder scene. ❝ no its not mine. there was... ❞ shit. what should she say? ❝ there was an accident, no one was going out to help them so i did. ❞ thank fuck. she was almost screwed right there. wait. ithaca quickly reaches a hand to her mouth and wipes away the slightest bit of blood that had been remaining -- hopefully he didn't notice. it was only a small amount and she really didn't want to have to explain anything to him. there was no need for him to know anything or get involved, even if it meant keeping him in the dark about a dark part of the world. she had just needed to feed and her unfortunate victim was really fighting back against her. of course, ithaca ended up winning but not without suffering the bloody repercussions.
