Frankly, Melchior didn’t blame Cady for being upset, even if she said things were casual with her and the boy she had been hooking up with, it was always hard seeing someone you had feelings for kissing someone else. That’s why he let her vent, he let her cry, he let her get upset as he wrapped his arms around her, “I know, its hard, let it out...I’m here for you.” Melchior confirmed, pressing a kiss to the top of her head as he rubbed her back, comforting his friend in the only way he knew how to, he didn’t want to go all therapist mode on her. He easily could, given her coping mechanisms, but this wasn’t a client....this was Cady. She was like a little sister to him, and he had to be supportive on that friend level, so he nodded as he kept her close.
