Cameron just let his gaze trail lazily up Elijah's back like he had all the time in the world. That little peek over the shoulder? It made the corner of his mouth twitch again; half-smirk, half-challenge. Elijah asking that question like he hadn't been the one looking first? Cute. The quarterback rolled a shoulder, casually propping his forearm across one knee. "Better now that you're talking to us," he said, voice full of teasing and smooth as ever. He didn't care if Elijah meant the question as a warning or an invitation — either way, it was a crack in the armor. "Didn't mean to make you nervous, rookie. We just appreciate talent when we see it. That's not a crime, is it?"
Kamari chuckled, not bothering to hide the way his eyes dragged slowly over Elijah like he was sizing him up on and off the field. He let the silence hang in the air for a second before tipping his chin slightly toward the rookie. "You askin' 'cause you care or 'cause you wanna distract us from how red your ears just got?" He asked, one brow raised, all smooth confidence. The towel hung loose on his hips as he leaned in a little, just enough to rattle Elijah's nerves, but not enough to cross a line. "Don't worry, we're real good. Just wonderin' when you're gonna stop pretending like you don't like the attention."
