Coffees in hand and bag slung over her shoulder, Lily pushes into Evie’s townhouse. She kicks the door behind her and looks around, “Evie...” She allows her voice to go all singsong as she walks farther into the home. It’s one of her favorite places in Monleon after her studio. Today was supposed to be fun: photographs, pastries, and Evie. “I don’t know what you’re doing, but your ass better get out here before I drink your coffee. You know how much I love to be wired before a shoot.”
A chuckle follows as she places them down before throwing her bag on the kitchen island. She follows suit and climbs on the counter, kicking her legs softly as she takes a sip. “God, you’re so annoying. I’m sure you look beautiful. Come on!”
