      unplanned freetime? well, adrian couldn’t have that. he had to remain busy at all times. naturally, he found something to do with his time rather quickly. besides, fin’s bakery wasn’t far away.  “do you have anything with blueberries?” he says to her, as if he was just some random customer.

Feet bounced against carpeted flooring, nervous and impatient. For what seemed like an eternity now, Finley sat across from her in silence, staring at her as if she had grown an extra head. It unnerved her, to see her usually chatty and opinionated brother speechless. Until then, she had convinced herself that the information she had kept to herself was no big deal; that it was just another thing for them to glaze over. But she knew now that that wasn’t the case. If she had only hid those damn papers better. “Please say something,” Freya finally blurted out, unable to bear another second of nothingness, “Let me know you’re alive, anything.” / @finleywood​

Freya had been gone for all but two seconds, bringing in the last of her boxes that remained in outside. How Finley had managed to doze off in that space of time had been a wonder, but it was in typical fashion of him to do so; committing to assist her in a task, only to slack off. She wouldn’t have it. Box balanced on her hip, Freya had grabbed the item closest to her ( which, much to his fortune had been a mere cushion ), hurling it his direction. To her delight, it had hit bullseye, smacking him right in the face. “Oi, you muppet,” She chided, “We haven’t even started and you’re already being lazy.” / @finleywoods​

i think one memory that he would cling to is a time where they were just relaxed and spending time together. eating cheap, shitty popcorn out of a bag while marathoning some of the worst movies they could find at their local blockbusters ( may they rest in pieces ) and laughing the entire time. probably throwing little kernels that didn't pop at each other when they think the other isn't looking, only to be smacked full-on in the face with a pillow. some night where they don't happen to have work the next morning so they can stay up as late as they want. <3

alessandra truly likes finley. she thinks he’s the perfect match for aubrey and knows if she needs a laugh she can go to him. she loves that the two them can get along and joke around with each other. though she will fight him if he ever hurts her girl and jokes she will one day steal aubrey all to herself though she knows she could never do such a thing.

It was all coughing and laughter as smoke left their lungs to fill the room. The more that they passed the joint back and forth, the more that their worries and quarrels from the past few weeks seemed to drift away. It was exactly what they needed; a white flag of sorts. “Aren’t we getting, like...waaaay too old for this?” Freya managed to speak through her mindless giggles, thumb wiping at the corner of her blood-shot eyes. / @finleywoods​
