Jensen arched a brow, half-surprised and half-impressed by the bluntness. The corner of her mouth tugged into a real smile for the first time that evening. "Well, damn," she said, leaning back in her chair like she might actually survive the night now. "You had me at 'getting the hell out of here'. I didn't even try the food, I could tell by the way it jiggled it wasn't gonna be worth chewing." She took another sip of her drink, a little more relaxed now, and tilted her head slightly. "Not gonna lie, you were about the only thing keeping me from Irish exiting five minutes ago. Guess the seating chart did one thing right." She glanced around the room, then lowered her voice, a little conspiratorial. "So, what do you say? Ditch the happy couple, go somewhere that doesn't serve mystery meat, and pretend we're not dressed like background extras in a Hallmark movie?"
