[ STUCK ] One character is locked out and the other offers for them to stay at their place until the lock marker appears (Joel)
Nishant bit his lip when he gestured for Joel to follow him. "I know you probably don't want to, but you can stay over as long as you need before the lock maker shows up," he said, not daring a look behind him. It was awkward, but it had been weirdly less so since the two of them had met a few times now, pushed together through circumstance.
"I can even offer you coffee to make it like our coffee date... uhm, appointment... thing..." He blushed and looked for his keys in his jacket pocket, grumbling to himself.
The house was still his parent's house, the one that Joel had seen the inside off a few times already. When the had been much younger, so of course the inside has changed a lot.
He opened the door and gestured for Joel to get inside. "Do you want anything to drink."
Joel looked uncomfortable, but that could just be Nishant projecting. He remembered the times they had come through this door doing something else than asking each other if the other wanted drinks.
"Coffee?"
Nishant grinned, awkwardly. "Sure, sure, coffee, I said that before. I'll get you some coffee." He shook his head quickly and ran into the kitchen. He hated that he couldn't act normally around Joel.
He was studying the boiler when he felt Joel walking into the kitchen, smiling, for some reason. He looked very attractive when he smiled. "I'm not taking too long, am I?" Nishant asked.
Joel shrugged. "No, take your time, I'm just... catching up on memories."
Nishant laughed. "Yeah, sorry, me too." Then he blushed, and turned back to the coffee.

CLOSED starter for @wndrlands ⤹ location: a quiet bar, after a successful gig
⥽ an arm is draped over her shoulder, joel smiling as he leans in to plant a WET kiss to her cheek. ❝ we should head out soon. what do you think ? ❞ joel tucks her safely into his side, ignoring the others at the table as they live in their own little world together. ❝ i’m feelin’ a bit tired, but i can SUCK IT UP if you’re not ready to go yet. ❞ whatever noelle says; goes. that’s just how joel’s brain worked, plain and simple. HER desires before anything else, and he was happy with that. his veins are still thrumming from the small gig ( yeah, maybe it was JUST their local bar, but that didn’t change how he felt ) and the grin on his face is practically splitting his face in HALF. and sitting here, sharing snacks and drinks with his friends ( his family ) was all that joel could DREAM of.
