“You have to read through all those documents?” she asks, looking over the papers, skimming over the titles. She had offered to pass by the gym and help Kyle with some administrative stuff, and seeing there’s this big pile of documents waiting for Kyle makes her smile a little, just because she knows this is his own personal hell. “How long have you been piling them up? They seem like a fun read,” she jokes, moving to lie down on the couch in his office as she continues to skim through them mindlessly.

“I’m never drinking again,” she says with a sigh, falling on Kyle’s bed. “You’re not allowed to convince me either. Or else you can forget my name.” She’s being a little dramatic, obviously, but she is serious about the drinking! Ever since the festival, her head’s been in shambles, and she fully blames the alcohol for it. “I’m in so much trouble.” She takes one of his pillows and covers her face with it when she groans into it.

Charlotte sighs a little as pours in a glass of wine for herself. "I have other liquor if you want. You want anything specific?" A pause, looking over at him. "How's Verity doing?" She'd rather focus on him for a little, she's been living in her head way too much lately. All she's been thinking about lately was her brother, and she needed a slight breather or she'll burst.

It’s midnight and she’s sitting on the floor, her back to the sofa, eating ice cream, a glass of pinot noir next to her. “Okay, let’s exchange,” she says, looking at Kyle and handing over her ice cream tub so she takes his. As soon as the news came out, she had checked up on Kyle, knowing his close friendship with the two victims. She’s sick and tired of everything happening, fearing for the lives of the people closest to her, and fearing how the current deaths will impact Kyle on top of what they’re already lost. “Are you going to close the gym for a few days?” She’s wondering if he’s going to be working at all.
