the crisp rooftop air brought a slight shiver to her body along with it. judging by her scantily clad figure, it was apparent that she hadn’t thought very well into the future. now, she wasn’t ignorant to the cool temperatures new york nights tended to have. it was the simple fact that she couldn’t bring herself to care very much. the little rebellions for her served a much bigger purpose and the way the cold air bit her skin brought an odd thrill to the girl. her arms rested against the ledge and despite her frequent visits, the view of the city beneath her never failed to leave a sense of awe. her eyes wandered to the figure beside her, a smile forming along her features as she reveled in the peaceful atmosphere. it was a shame they weren’t able to share this little luxury more often. the air from her mouth left the same cloudy presence as the smoke that had previously occupied the area.
