Jordan leaned an elbow on the counter, eyes narrowing just slightly as the girl pushed back her hoodie like she was unveiling something important. She didn't flinch at the offer of triple the price or the bottle of tequila thunked down between them. She'd heard worse pitches, and she'd definitely turned down more dramatic ones. Still, their fingers tapped restlessly against the edge of the counter. "A cover up, huh?" They said, their voice flat, but not entirely cold. Their gaze shifted down to the wrist the blonde kept glancing at, and sure enough, there was a name. Of course it was a name. She didn't usually entertain this kind of thing. Drunk walk-ins with regret written all over their faces. But there was something about this one... Not just the pretty face, (though that didn't hurt) but the desperation in her tone, the way her words didn't slur so much as they cracked, like she was holding herself together with just the weight of her own stubbornness. Like getting this tattoo wasn't about impulse, it was survival. Jordan clicked her tongue, glancing over her shoulder toward the back room, then back at her. "Sit down," she muttered, grabbing a pair of gloves. "But you so much as flinch wrong or throw up, and I'm kicking your ass out. Deal?" She didn't wait for a response before motioning to the chair, but her tone softened as she added, "You better tell me what this name did to deserve getting erased at one-thirty in the damn morning. And what exactly you want to get done to cover it up."
