—— @bulstrodetrystane x TRYSTANE !
there was a time when iris actually liked valentine’s day. sure, it was mostly when she was younger, when she saw her father doing sweet things for her step-mother on the day, and hoping that someday she’d have what they had. but a couple years later and it was her fourth valentine’s day without a date (though who really counts a second year date?) and the hopeless romantic turned cynic was only growing sadder, especially with the job that she’d been appointed to do. of course, she’d plastered a huge grin on her face and greeted the people, smoothing down her dress every now and again. but when people weren’t around, the smile would falter, “i want to tell them that love is a con job but i don’t want to be the valentine’s day grinch,” iris glanced over at trystane, a small sigh slipping past her lips.
