As if finally being ungrounded wasn't enough to have him looking forward to Valentine's day, Finn also had a date with Marley. He wanted to make the day perfect for her. They deserved it after all. With everything in their lives so unpredictable, he'd learned to grab the good moments any chance he got, and a Valentine's day with his girlfriend definitely qualified. It was a day devoted to love and candy. It was hard to beat that combination. Unsure of the right gift to get Marly, Finn listened to the song she'd recorded for him for inspiration. After all it seemed like a better idea than Puck's advice of lingerie. While he would have loved to see her in some, Finn decided on the somewhat predictable combination of roses and chocolate followed by a dinner at the fanciest restaurant he knew, Breadstix.
Standing outside of Marley's door, Finn took a second to adjust his tie. He wanted to make sure he looked good after all, and the fact that it'd made his mom smile before he left the house hadn't hurt either. Reaching up and knocking on the door, he waited patienly for whicher of the Rose women would be answering the door.
