So I saw my cousin for the first time in forever and I'm genuinely used to my cousins being 10 years older than me not 10 years younger. She told me she wanted to be an OBGYN and I deadass said to her "u wanna look at Vaginas all day? U gay or what." Then my mom proceeded to yell "DALLAS DONT SAY THAT" And I laughed and told my cousin I'm joking it ain't gay.

and im going to complain more about irrelevant stuff while im in my bitchy mood i’ll keep it under the cut bc its a dumb story

when i was at week-long girl scout camp when i was like 8 i was so excited to do actual campy things like learn how to make a fire and do knots and hike and set up a tent and just general wilderness adventure and basic basic survival stuff and i had asked my mom to sign me up for the camp that was closest to that and so she signed me up for this pirate-themed one where they promised like buried treasure stuff and like island activities so i was like “oh cool neato” and went traipsing off to this camp by some lake beach and like i had fun during buried treasure activity which just turned out to be a simple scavenger hunt but we didn’t need adult supervision so i was excited but the island activities were literally like collecting pretty rocks for arts and crafts and eating a packed lunch on a canoe in the middle of the lake which isn’t bad i guess but definitely not what i had in mind so finally thursday comes up and that’s the day that we have the sleepover and im psyched because they said that there would be campfire building demonstrations and like a hike after dinner (for each theme around the camp there was more than just us pirates there) and that we’d be sleeping in tents and telling ghost stories but then our counselor (her pseudonym was bubbles) was in a pissy mood so she just decided to make the fire herself because she didn’t have any patience and she didn’t want to go on the hike (our other counselor smalls did though she was fun but i guess you needed all the counselors present for that sorta thing) so eventually our little rag tag group of vaguely pirate-themed 8 year old girls start feeling like we’re missing out and that we should be doing real outdoorsy stuff (mostly it was to brag about it to other people and feel cool) and so we’re like “hey can we set up the tent? can you tell how we can do that?” and so Bubs is being bitchy and just wants to get this over with and she said “no it’ll take me five minutes just go play or something” and so we were like “if we were boys you’d let us please please pleeeeeeaaase???” and so we annoy her enough so that she just is like “FINE! here’s the tent good luck figuring it out!” and she goes and probably ranted to smalls about us but we dont care we’re little girls trying to prove ourselves in this cruel tough world so by some miracle we get the tent up and its pretty sturdy and we have our campfire which lasted for about 30 minutes bc we got tired so Bubbles says “okay guys if your tent comes down in the middle of the night i’m going to laugh at you” and this tent is our pride and joy therefore we do not appreciate the sentiment and firmly believe that it will get us through the night well lo and behold it does get us through the night but around 7:30 in the morning about half an hour before we were supposed to wake up the tent collapsed in on us bc of some strong wind or something and i woke up to bunch of panicked screaming and frantic shuffling and we all ran out of our tent as best we could and just huddled outside in our striped pjs just looking over the carnage that was our tent and to our right we heard the rudest luaghter I have ever heard it wasn’t real laughter it was the forced “i-told-you-so” laughter and we’re like “can you help us?!” and fucking Bubbles is like “you dug your grave” so i got mad and called her the worst counselor ever and some of us cried and Bubbles should have just taught us how to set up our own tent i hate her
