Okay so I saw a duck in the middle of the road into an Aldi car park today

1) this is a shell duck, typically a coastal species. I live in the literal middle of England so even it’s prescience is a fuck you to common sense

2) I have seen this duck before. Exact same duck. Exact same car park, last time it was in a hedge on the outer bank of the car park.

This time the duck as sat straight in the midddle of the road giving precisely zero fucks about anything.

A literal MINIVAN DROVE PAST THIS THING, PROBABLY MISSING IT BY A FEE INCHES AND THE BLOODY DUCK DIDNT FLINCH

so at this point I have more respect for the duck than I have for most people but I don’t want it to get hurt. So I try to move it onto the little bank between the lanes in the car park.

THE FUCKER ONLY MOVES WHEN IM ABOUT 15CM AWAY AND WHEN IT DOES IS PICKS ITSLEF UP OFF THE GROUND AND LEISURELY WADDLES

RIGHT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE NEXT LANE OVER AND SITS BACK DOWN

I don’t know what kind of no fucks given mentality this bird has but I digress
