Do you remember your first kiss with Cody?

July 30st, 2015.

We had just finished meeting each other for the first time at the hookah bar accompanied by my friend Brynn.

We left the hookah bar and drove back to my house for a spontaneous movie night.

Cody parked his car in front of my across-the-street neighbor’s house.

I walked over and sat down in the passenger seat of his car while we waited for Brynn to arrive (I had dropped her off to get her car on the way home).

We looked into each other’s eyes and both cracked a smile. I asked him if I could kiss him because I had wanted to from the moment I laid eyes on him walking across the parking lot.

He told me yes.

He tasted like a mixture of apples and mint.

I’ll never forget that taste.
