Feels...

Its not even half way through the first month of the year and I’ve already felt depressed, sad, overwhelmed by emotions, and now all i want to do is heal.

Step one: Gym membership. Check

Step two: Eat healthy meals and take vitamins. Double check.

Step three: Stop waiting for happiness to find you. Half check. 

Step four: Treat myself the way I treat others, with love and respect. 

Slowly but surely I can do this. I can gain control of my life. Its never too late.

I usually have these types of conversations off of social media, but it stings and sends a different message when people you "know" jump on the #standfortheflag bandwagon without acknowledging the real issue. What's more disrespectful to our flag than players kneeling is RACISM...Steve Kerr said it best!!!. People who never has or will have to deal with some of the injustice and inequality that others deal with are upset. Our president called the white supremacists (Charlottesville) very fine people but called athletes who kneel during the anthem sob's - are you mad at that? It's time to do better!
