Birch ply is hit or miss around here in terms of figure or character. I was able to find a couple good sheets for this project. One coat of @minwaxusa sanding sealer and three coats of @generalfinishes water-based, satin top coat. Each coat applied with @fujisprayofficial 4-stage HVLP system, hand-sanded with 220 and 320 grit between coats.
