Jakub Zytecki / Ladder head. But I’ll give the eyes no rest Time off to self-defense Here come the swollen faces Here come the things to learn.
Gonna start an online Uni course, maybe it'll help a with with the people-anxiety and I'll be a little less miserable. Even the exams are all written. It'll probably do no good to me to avoid my problems in the long run. Like people will happen that I like it or not. But right now I just wanna finish Uni so I can finally start breathing. Less terror probs means better results. I hope at least. Still not something I like but there's not much I can do about it :/

This is Jungle/D&B
From July 6th to 10th, 2024, Centre Space Gallery will host 'This is Jungle/D&B', an exhibition exploring the rich history and vibrant culture of Bristol's early Drum & Bass and Jungle scene. This immersive exhibition offers an unparalleled journey into the pulsating world of Jungle and D&B music, showcasing its historical journey and enduring impact on British music culture. 'This is Jungle/D&B' exhibition serves as a heartfelt tribute to Jungle's past, showcasing its transformative influence on the music landscape.
The event highlights the significant contributions of key players such as Full Cycle Records, Independent Dealers, More Rockers, and the Ruff Neck crew, all of whom played pivotal roles in shaping the genre’s trajectory. Bristol, renowned for its dynamic and innovative music scene, is rightfully celebrated as a hub of Jungle/D&B creativity and evolution from the early 90s onwards.
Curated by DJ Krust of Full Cycle Records and Adapt The Canvas, alongside DJ Flynnites from Independent Dealers and Gary Thompson, co-author of "The Art and Sound of the Bristol Underground," the exhibition promises an authentic and comprehensive exploration of the genre through hitherto unseen archival material, artwork, and photography.
