Can you ID the dog breeds?
I found this online experiment yesterday at the Discover Magazine site and it’s pretty cool. If you love dogs/canids as much as I do, you might want to try this--it’s free--you need only provide an email address. It’s called The Mutt Mix!
They show you pictures of lovable mutts and you guess at the mixture of breeds in their DNA. For example, look at the picture above. What would you guess? The answer is: a mixture of Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, and Dalmatian! (It’s a practice one so it doesn’t count in the full test, and I’m not spoiling anything important) try it, it’s fun!
