These Quilled Parrot Cake Cupcakes are a delightful and colorful treat that will surely brighten up any occasion. The combination of vibrant colors and vanilla flavor makes them not only visually appealing but also delicious.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 cup whole milk. Green food coloring. Red, yellow, and blue food coloring for the quills. Vanilla frosting. Green sugar sprinkles optional. Edible googly eyes optional. Piping bags and tips.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Divide the cupcake batter into three portions. Leave one portion plain and tint the other two with green food coloring and one with a combination of red, yellow, and blue food coloring to create bright colors. Spoon the colored batters into separate piping bags fitted with tips. Pipe green batter around the edges of each cupcake liner to create a ring of green. Fill the center with the plain batter. This will create the base of the parrot cupcake. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, frost the cupcakes with vanilla frosting, giving them a smooth surface. To create the quills, use the colored frosting in piping bags with small round tips. Pipe small, colorful quills on top of each cupcake to resemble parrot feathers. Add edible googly eyes if desired and decorate with green sugar sprinkles for added flair. Your Quilled Parrot Cake Cupcakes are now ready to enjoy!

When you use the same color pallet in all your projects (don’t know why I do, it just happens🤷🏻♀️) It’s easy to integrate prices with each other. Here is Miss Independent poster on a Saga wallpaper 😉 . . #saga #wallpaper #poster #posterdesign #funandcolorful #boldandcolorful #patterndesign #patterncollection #swedishdesign #svenskdesign #svenskdesigner #dotsandwhatnot #malinekhult (på/i Dots and whatnot design studio)
