These guys must be familiar to those who are into blackened crust, as their first EP was a very well received effort, and here they pick up where they left off. Apparently these guys are way closer to black metal than to crust, which results in a lot of blasting songs that sometimes sound like Anaal Nathrakh, but a bit less devastating. The sound is okay, but they’re not different in that department from the armada of HM-2 using metal/hardcore bands.Negative Standards’ album from the same year did more for me, to be honest, but this is a great substitute for your morning coffee as well, especially since it’s really short.
