LZ 130 GRAF ZEPPELIN II 

The last great German rigid airship, in service 1938-40, took 30 flights but never served it’s intend purpose as a passenger liner. In April 1940 Göring issued the order to scrap it. The metal was used for other aircraft and weapons during the war.
