Cassandra grumbled when Lara said that murdering Bradley wouldn’t solve all the problems of the country. It would solve a lot of their problems, problems of the poor.. and revenge wouldn’t hurt either. They had a family.. and although Greed had been a homuculus he helped make her have a home.

“We could go east.. Eastern command’s always been considered somewhere safe. Or north. Central rarely sent anyone North when my parents worked there..”

She frowned, getting up from the chair she had salvaged and sat on. “What do you mean, I won’t like it?”

      Ari stared at her, an expression of concern across his face. Since she had lost her arm, she had been refusing to say anything about it. The Ishvalan knew that she needed to let it out. Shaking his head, Ari reached over and took her hand with his own scarred hands, holding onto it firmly, yet being careful not to injure her in any way.
