This week’s Ship Sunday is all about Mai and Ty Lee, better known as Mailee!

This femslash pairing is first introduced in season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender as friends of Azula.

Though they’re not a major pairing of the fandom, Mailee does have a good amount of fanworks dedicated to them, but are more often included as a background ship in works focused on more popular pairings such as Zutara, Zukka, and Kataang.
