The fusion collapsed on the floor of his lair, again. The green matter his body was made of was seething because of the anger the creature could feel.

No, I won't allow this again. Not anymore. Lord Fuse trusted them, hhe trusted me, I cannot not allow a weak human to do this to us!

Finally, the monster stood up again, breathing heavily. He glared at the group of Heroes in front of him, his red eyes filled with rage. His scream echoed in the whole lair as he jumped on them.

Then, the silence.

The tentacles on the lair's entrance glowed, and a boy with light brown hair and green eyes appeared from it, followed by two other girls and another guy. Some little Swampfire Nano was floating around their heads.

The brown haired boy looked back at the portal and sighed, activating his comunicator.

"Squad F reporting, Edwin Doubloon here. Fusion Ben has been defeated and the fusions are back into the restored Infected Zone. Mission completed."

Our Lord and Master Fuse has talked.

Now that the human leaders are no longer a threat, we shall proceed creating the new Fusions that will lead us to our glorious victory.

"I have captured the 'Evil Scientist' called Mandark, I shall attempt to get the information out of him when he wakes up. Have you captured your human counterpart yet Fusion Ben?"

The green creature looked at his similar, smiling. "There’s no need to capture him." he hissed, and showed the other some green and black pieces that looked like plastic. Among them, the Ultimetrix’s dial, cracked.

"He won’t be a problem for us anymore."

As the voice continued to echo in the now empty Space Port, the escaped Fusions terrified all the recruits that, scared, were screaming and running all around the area.

Their panic was however justified: the Offworld Plaza outpost had been destroyed, the KND and Plumbers operatives lying on the ground, covered in fusion matter and blood. Vilgax run away somewhere when the alarm started, and Ben Tennyson was still fighting, but inexorably losing, against his fusion copy.

With a last, heavy shoot of Fusion Matter, Ben collapsed to the ground, senseless. Fusion Ben slowly bended over him, checking if he actually defeated the boy. 

The human wasn't moving.

The monster looked at the other's left arm, at his Ultimatrix, and grabbed it. Corroding its circuits with his poison, he removed the watch from Ben's wrist, examinating it and then proceeded to throw it to the Hydraulic Enforcers around there.

As his Minions ate voraciously the precious alien device, Fusion Ben turned to his human copy, his red eyes revealing a dirty complacency.

Stretching his face, a hole opened on the lower part, creating some sort of mouth. This soon twisted into a creepy smile, as the creature stood upon the Alien Hero.
